Hi James, glad you found your way here The site is still new and a bit rough around the edges, I will be asking my friend who is a pro web designer to touch the front page up this week so watch this space. (it may cost me a pint or two) I have set you as admin and will do the same for John when he joins, I was thinking of asking a few of the active members from the old Facebook group if they would like to be admins here? what do you think.

Hi, I am happy to be joining this site where we can all share information about Rendlesham. I'm from central Virginia and am fascinated by this particular event. I do not like UFO stories in general which mostly consist of stories about a bunch of lights----boring, boring to say the least. However, I am very much interested when we have a crash event or other reasonably well documented event with multiple credible and well-trained witnesses, especially an event such as this one where most of the witnesses are still living as opposed to the situation at Roswell. I have never visited England, but I do hope to make the trip one day soon. And, above all thanks to all of you who have donated your time and efforts to finding an answer to this great mystery. You who are witnesses have been through a lot, but I believe your efforts will be rewarded soon as more and more of you speak out about what occurred in 1980. Hang in there as man and science team up to find an answer--that answer is going to be found.

My names Dave. I am a personal friend of Larry Warren, av met Peter Robins, Nick Pope and a few others. The Book, Sky Crash brought some memories back from when i was a child of 6 or 7yrs old about an experience I had and now partly remember @ 144 Wigan road, in Atherton was the place it happened. The way things have turned out, I would not miss out on this meeting for the life of me. Larry Warren has invited me to come on the 28th Dec. Peter Robins has a friend who may be able to help me re-remember what happened to me. I have had weird experiences all my life and want to learn more. Dave, John, Jim, great to be here on this site. Sheesh, it's taken me a long time to actually get to write something on here! My interest in the Rendlesham sightings is pretty obvious when you understand where I grew up, who I met and the world situation at the time. I lived and went to school between a UK RAF base and one of the largest UK Ammunition Depots, so there is no doubt that I was a pretty high priority target in the event of a conflict with the USSR. As kids we were more aware of this situation than most of the adults realized Although RAF Gaydon was supposedly for "Training" the V bomber crews who would deliver the UK nuclear weapons if they were ever used, there were live munitions on board and available to these aircraft at that time, despite denials from the Ministry of Defence. My parents had rented the house next door to the RAF for some years. We kids knew very well what was flying over us, never mind what the Government tried to tell us. When RAF Gaydon was closed my parents rented the house next door to the USAF instead, so I got to meet a few young USAF people and their families. So at a time when you often had to "Book" a phone call to the US and to many Brits the impression of "Americans" came from the movies and bits of TV news I got to meet real people who by then were the major force defending the UK. Amazingly enough "Americans" were quite like us, two arms, two legs, that kind of thing and not really beings from another planet So although no secrets were given away I was fortunate enough to get a better insight into the responsibilities these airmen had signed up for and how seriously they took their work. Another thing that is both important and relevant to the Rendlesham case is the "Political" situation regarding US bases in the UK. It became very clear to me that when visiting such a base one was effectively stepping into the United States, and coming under the jurisdiction of US regulations. This applied in reverse too, for example US personnel who were armed in the course of their duties on the base were not permitted to take weapons off base. Thus the security folks involved at Rendlesham were unarmed in the forest. For these reasons it has always been my opinion that the apparent invasion of the airspace in the vicinity of such bases could not be anything other than a major security issue. Although the "Leases" may apply to areas of land that are "Fenced" just how far away from that fence is it "Safe" for an unknown aircraft to be? Not to take anything away from witnesses who saw only phenomena "In the sky" but what is serious about the incident is the fact that some unknown object, apparently a craft under some kind of control, demonstrated certain abilities. It landed in a controlled manner, it remained there for some time and it left again under it's own power, at a time of it's own choosing, and it did all this quite beyond the control of anyone at the scene. It could have chosen to land elsewhere, perhaps in a restricted area, it might have been a weapon of some kind, and it might have damaged or attacked assets on one of the bases. In short, the fact that none of us know what it could have done is the threat. The only way such an event could be described as "No threat" would be if someone knows beyond doubt what the object was and who was in control of it. Any other scenario is a threat. So it may be 30 years on, but it was a threat then and others like it could remain a threat to this day. The big problem with all of this is that there was no policy to deal with such an event at the time, and there appears to be no policy to deal with such an event to this day. The only action to be taken seems to be to try and sweep the garbage under the carpet. Not a very smart solution in my opinion

Hello, My name is Andy, I am from Hull in east yorkshire. On the same night/s as the Rendlesham forest incident/s I also (unbeknownst) to me at the time) had a similar encounter. It was not until over 20 years laterr, I made the connections. I thought what I saw was a large "Marquee" lit up, and thought a party was occurring. But now after all these yerars and realising, "It" was silent, and my hair stood on end, the closer I got, and it was like walking in a swimming pool. The USAF staff reported the same sensations, but it never occurred to me this was connectted until I researched it after reading Bruni@s book. Hull incident is mentioned. It did happen, and yes I had missing time and other weird stuff.

Here is a good post and video about the case. www.ufobevy.net/2011/12/ufo-alan-godfrey-case-1980.htmlI believe Alan Godfrey and I am sure the 'Godfrey case, Rendlesham and the Cash-Landrum case could all be connected as they took place between the end of November and December 1980. I would love to hear from more witnesses like yourself who may have had an encounter or seen something November or December 1980 Dave.
